I thought I had it figured out…
I was wrong about almost all of it…
1. Cutting calories every time I wanted to get lean. I spent years eating less, looking worse, and wondering why nothing was shifting. Eating more is what actually changed my body. It’s about eating the right food, not less.
2. Eating less. I was under 1,800 calories and my body held onto everything.
3. Training six days a week. More sessions, worse results, constant fatigue.
4. Pre-workout every single day can upset your Adrenal system.
5. Skipping sleep to get the session in. I thought that was discipline. It was stupidity.
6. Chasing the pump does nothing that actually built a functioning body.
7. Drinking on Saturday and pretending Monday will fix it.
8. Training through injury. I tore things I am still dealing with now.
9. Obsessing over the scale. Weight is not the metric. How you look and how you feel is the metric.
10. Waiting until I felt ready. There is never a good time to get ready. Just do it!
At 51 I stopped all of it…
Best shape of my life…
More energy than I had in my 40s…
No gym required for most of it…
The things I stopped doing changed more than the things I started…
