Get Lean As A Fighter!

Getting lean as a fighter is not the same as getting lean for the beach.

You need to lose fat without losing the engine that powers your training.

Here’s how to do it properly:

Small deficit. Not a massive one.

200-300 calories below maintenance is enough to lose fat consistently.

Big deficits kill your gas tank, flatten your power and break down muscle.

Small and consistent wins.

Keep protein high. Non negotiable.

High protein preserves muscle while you are in a deficit.

Chicken, beef, eggs, fish, Greek yoghurt, cottage cheese, whey. Every meal. Every day.

Don’t cut carbs. Adjust them.

Carbs fuel your training. Cut them too low and your performance disappears inside two weeks.

Slightly smaller portions. Keep them around training. Cut back on rest days. Don’t slash them entirely.

Keep lifting or doing strength work.

Cardio alone makes you smaller. Not necessarily more powerful.

Resistance training tells your body to hold onto muscle even in a deficit.

Be patience.

Two weeks isn’t enough time to get meaningfully leaner.

Slow and consistent beats fast and destructive every time.

Getting lean should make you sharper, faster and more efficient.

Not weaker.
